For barre classes, we recommend pants that hit below the knee. Fitted clothing is helpful so instructors can better assess your form.
For cardio classes, wear something you can sweat in. Since we do a fair amount of jumping, you also might thank yourself for wearing your most supportive sports bra.
For all other classes, wear whatever you feel comfortable moving in.
Barre classes require grippy socks, which you can bring with you or purchase at the studio. These are required for class for your safety and sanitation. Bare feet are not allowed: dozens of sweaty feet and hardwood floors just don’t mix well!
For cardio classes (Dance, Bounce, Kickboxing), you’ll need sneakers to provide you with more support for your feet and ankles.
For sculpt classes you can generally wear either sneakers or grip socks. Your instructor will tell you if there is a preference.
In addition to appropriate footwear, bring a water bottle (free refills at our bottle filler station). You may also want to bring a towel.
For yoga classes, you can bring a mat or use one of ours.
For your first class, please arrive 5-10 minutes early so we can get you settled into the studio.
For returning clients, entry into class isn’t permitted 5 minutes after the start of the class. This ensures a safe and enjoyable experience for all clients.
Free street parking can be found on W. Cary (1 hour limit) or nearby side streets (no limit or 2 hour limit). You can also park in the lot behind the studio in the spaces marked either Maiden Motion or Customer Parking.
Our classes are designed for women, but we also fully welcome members of the LGBTQ community, including trans people, and anyone who vibes with our vibe. Members do sometimes bring their male partners or friends and we’re happy to have them (as long as they’re on their best behavior and put the toilet seat down!)
Yes, we rent the studio to select individuals and groups. The hourly/daily rate depends on use case. Shoot us an email and we can talk!
